My cat has a ridiculously long official name, so I used the short version everyone calls him. It fits the mood of this ring much better. The little pet details are enough to get the idea across without making it look like a novelty piece. I've been wearing it alone on my right hand. It feels like a small nod to him rather than a big announcement.
