My sister helped me choose a month for each of my children. I like the heart beside the teardrop because they don't look like a matching pair of ordinary stones. I chose silver so the two colors would be the main detail. The heart and teardrop are easy to see when I wear the necklace alone. I prefer that to pairing it with another pendant. The two different shapes are what make this version for me.

The stones are smaller than I expected. The necklace is pretty, but the colors are a more subtle detail than I'd hoped. I'd have preferred them a little bolder to show the chosen months.
